Kylie Minogue is back with a new single 2 Hearts , release on November 12th, and a new album X , release on November 26th.
The album contains 13 tracks and is Kylie's first new studio album in four years. It was recorded in London, Stockholm and Ibiza.

Winter Music Conference Announces 2008 Dates [news]

In the wake of the Amsterdam Dance Event, Winter Music Conference announced the dates for WMC 2008, March 25 - 29, 2008 at the Miami Beach Resort & Spa.

Last year, WMC 2007 exceeded its expectations with more than 1,316 artists participating in 371 events across Miami during the WMC week. The program boasted more than 80 groundbreaking meetings, seminars and presentations during the week - furthering its 23rd tradition of bringing together the most innovative talent, esteemed professionals and newest technologies to chart the future advancement and growth of the industry.

Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival have partnered once again for Ultra's 10 year anniversary event on March 28 & 29, 2008. As WMC's official closing event, delegates will receive complimentary admission to both days of Ultra. Last year's Ultra Music Festival featured headlining acts The Cure and Paul Van Dyk. There are a limited amount of $99 General Admission tickets available at the Ultra Music Festival website. As Winter Music Conference has continued to evolve and grow, it promises a lot of new personalities in the 2008 program. Third UK Top 10 Hit Fedde Le Grand Within A Year [news]

Dutchman Fedde le Grand has achieved the feat of having three UK top 10 hits within 12 months. His remix van Ida Corr's Let Me Think About It crashed into the The Official UK Singles Chart at second spot last week. The track follows other top 10 efforts Put Your Hands Up For Detroit and The Creeps (all on Ministry of Sound's Data Recordings). This is the first time a Dutch producer has had such unprecedented success in such a short time frame, exceeding even 2Unlimited's efforts in the early 90s.

His breakthrough as a performing artist was made clear to the dance world as he won the DJ Awards Ibiza Breakthrough award, presented to him in at Pacha. Also last Sunday (7th October) he performed during the closing party in Space alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia and Pete Tong.

This year's up and coming Amsterdam Dance Event starts on next week. Fedde plays the MN2S party on the 19 October, the Melkweg on the following night and Saturday 20 October at Sneakerz in Panama. He may as well camp down sleep at the venue, because he is back there on the following night, 21 October, for the Super Sunday ADE Closing Party. (VIA)

Very successful Dutch producer Richard van Schooneveld has announced to take a step back from the successful Dutch project G-Spott. This is mainly caused by the fact that he currently has to devote the majority of his time to the international project Richard Durand.

G-Spott is one of the many projects which sees Richard van Schooneveld in the drivers seat. Hits like “No Comment”(2003), “Louder” (2003), “City Streets” (2005) and his latest hit “Sadness” (2006) makes G-Spott one of the best known Dutch dance acts ever. Next to G-Spott Richard has produced for many Dutch artists, a.o. the world-famous DJ Jean for which he made “Every Single Day” and “Feel It”. Along the road he has also done remixes for the Italian DJ/producer Mauro Picotto.

The international awareness of Richard Durand has increased enormously in the last couple of months. He has produced well-known club hits like “Make Me Scream”, “Sunhump 2006”, “Slipping Away”, “Inside My Brain”, “Any Time”, “For The Believers 2.0”, and his latest release “Sweep And Repeat”. Piracy Almost Ruins Chicane [news]

Having a number 1 hit in the U.K. and worldwide success with other songs, you’d figure that Chicane would be happy. But an album leaked to the internet nearly ruined the up and coming act.

Nick Bracegirdle, who is Chicane, was finishing up his third album, Easy To Assemble. The album was leaked on line, and one Russian counterfitter sold thousands of illegal copies by himself. He is now self-financing his next album, taking a big chance. "I've invested close to $400,000 so far, raised by selling my Ferrari and remortgaging the house," Bracegirdle says. "I've always played live with a sizable group of musicians, but now I'm financing everything myself. It is a challenge. The group and crew cost $8,000 per show."

The irony is that a market that is becoming strong for him is the one that caused him the trouble in the first place. "Ironically, Russia is fast becoming a good market for Chicane”, he said with a laugh. “We've been there more than four times already this year."
