Two people make a chance to stand in the spotlight for an hour.

The First mix will be broadcasted from the 16th till the 22th(Week 29) of july and the second mix will be broadcasted from the 23th till the 29th of july (Week 30).

Ibiza News: DC-10, Amnesia & Bora Bora Closed

The rumours about a big drug crack down in Ibiza have been flying around for a while. Now, just as the 2007 summer season officially kick started, the authorities have shut down three of the island’s most popular clubs.

Amnesia and Bora Bora were forced to close its doors for one month, while DC-10 will have to close for two months, effective immediately. All three venues were also ordered to pay a 6,000 Euros fine.

The action is in response to local police and Guardia Civil based on investigations conducted during 2005 and 2006 and the allegation that the clubs did little or nothing to stop the use and/or dealing of drugs inside the venues.

Amnesia was due to open on June 16 with big nights such as Cocoon and Cream already lined up. Mondays at DC-10 started last week. Read on >>>

Johan Gielen mixed In Trance We Trust 012

The In Trance We Trust series on Black Hole recordings is one Trance compilation series that never seems to loose track of what its all about, excellent Trance. Volume 12 Is here and Johan Gielen is at the controls again.

I would say if you're into your Trance you will have at least one In Trance We Trust compilation sitting proudly in your CD collection. It's been a series that Black Hole has used to push forward its label talent and bring rising new stars into the dance arena. The last release saw upcoming Trance jock Phynn release his debut mix compilation that went down with good reviews and notched further up the dance ladder.

Its been a while since that release but one of Black Hole's early mix releases was done by Johan Gielen, number four in the series to highlight it and for me I would say it was one of the best mixes in the series. That can only be good news for the next compilation as Johan Gielen is the man behind the mix again for the 12th release. Read on >>>

Christopher Lawrence - Live from SAMC, Buenos Aires

Fresh from taking the #4 position in DJ Magazine's highly coveted 'Top 100 poll in 2006, American superstar DJ Christopher Lawrence returns to Buenos Aires for the South American Music Conference.

The South American Music Conference (SAMC) has established itself as one of the essentials in the industry and party calendar, as well as establishing Argentina as the dance music capital of South America.

With pre-parties and after parties hitting all the major clubs in the city with the influx of international talent throughout the weekend, clubbers were spoilt for choice with stars such as Sven Vath, Ritchie Hawtin, ATB, James Holden, DJ Dan, Second Sun, Eddie Halliwell and many more.

The closing event on Saturday night drew over 25,000 people, with Christopher Lawrence headlining the main stage. The first hour of Christopher's set - 'Live from SAMC, Buenos Aires' will be broadcasted by DBS Radio at June 12, 22.00 - 23.00 (CET).
