Since Mauro Picotto decided to launch his Electronic Music Lifestyle Party at the Miami Winter Music Conference (WMC) in 2002, the event has become a phenomenon, going from strength to strength, hosting nights all over the world and this year returning to Ibiza for its fifth successful year at Privilege, the World’s Biggest Club. Meganite is the full and complete representation of Mauro’s desires. It’s his people with his favourite DJs doing what they want to do, knowing it’s what the crowd wants too. Full On Ferry – The Masquerade, the line up & trailer online!

On Saturday, November 1st, 2008, one of the most successful parties of 2007 is making a comeback . On that day, the Ahoy' in Rotterdam will be the home of Ferry Corsten's Full On Ferry: The Masquerade; a dazzling show on an immense scale, with loads of new, spectacular surprises in which both the artists and the audience will appear in beautiful Venetian masks. These masks symbolise the different styles of music that will be blended together during this night.

In the centre of this unique event will be non other than one of the most highly regarded artists of his generation; DJ/Producer International superstar, Ferry Corsten. Throughout his nine hour set, people can expect to be blown away with his signature trance sound combined with various influences from the most diverse currents such as progressive, electro and house. The audience will experience a magical musical journey through the best that dance music has to offer.

Similar to last year, Ferry has once again invited some of the most highly regarded and most inspiring artists to appear alongside him for a series of spectacular back-2-back sessions.

These artists were personally handpicked by Ferry himself as they are the frontliners of their respective genres of music and like Ferry , love to share great music with a wonderful crowd.

Fedde Rushed Off Stage

DJmag reports: Dutch electro don Fedde Le Grand was forced off stage by a crowd surge at this summer's Roskilde Festival.

The dance arena of the Danish festival was closed following an unprecedented influx of fans. Security closed the arena after Le Grand had played just one record.

Roskilde officials were on high alert following a previous incident that cost the lives of two festival goers. In this instance organisers spotted the problem early and acted quickly in the interest of security.

Fedde described the scenes, in which amazingly no one was hurt, as "terrifying to watch".

Le Grand returned to the stage after a 45 minute break to resume his set under stricter security controls.

Sister Bliss releases Nightmoves

Blissy's back in town, with a new mix compilation that combines acid house and techno in her signature style - she's not just a member of Faithless, you know.

Faithless are a dance music supergroup; a festival act whose words mean something, one of the biggest acts in dance music worldwide and the authors of anthems like Insomnia and albums like Reverence. And they couldn't have done any of those things without Sister Bliss, one of the most visible women in dance music and the musical hub of the band's on-stage presence.

Still, Blissy (real name Ayalah Bentovim) isn't just a member of a band, she's also an old school DJ from the British club scene - a survivor of a time when female DJs were a novelty, not that she's ever let that stop her. Still a mainstay of The Gallery, Turnmills infamous Friday-nighter that now resides at Ministry Of Sound, Blissy's DJ skills are definitely worth hearing first hand…but if you can't make it, or want a memento of a good night, then this is probably a good choice. Intuition Summer Festival

Tiësto & Ferry Corsten write Dance History together at Dance Valley

Ferry Corsten will close out his own Flashover Recordings Stage at the Dance Valley festival with none other than Tiësto. This historic event will take place in the Second Valley at Dance Valley.

San Francisco, 24 May 2008. Due to a serious power failure, the ETD POP Festival died a sudden death, just at the moment that the public had reached a state of ecstasy after an amazing set by Ferry Corsten and the first tracks of Tiësto’s final set had begun to boom through the venue. One club that still had power was the Ruby Skye, which was filled to capacity as Ferry Corsten turned the tables at the official ETD POP afterparty.

Tiësto, still full of energy after his incomplete set earlier that evening, decided to stop in on his good friend and colleague Ferry Corsten. Ferry immediately pulled him into the DJ booth to continue turning in a back-to-back set. The audience at Ruby Skye instantly felt that dance history was being written that night. Years after Ferry and Tiësto had entered the history books under names such as Gouryella, with tracks Gouryella, Walhalla and Tenshi, they were again turning tables together for a public that completely blew its top.
